In this day and age of half assed rushed demos and poor productions, it is refreshing to hear such dedication and effort put into ones' art. I'm talking about industrial/ metal heavyweights "hypodust"... This self produced effort, which sounds better than most major label acts is a sonic display of sheer metallic intensity... Utilizing powerful rhythm guitars dressed with atmospheric keys/ samples arranged in a very dynamic and progressive way. The songs are very intense and the atmosphere changes frequently. Various successful vocal efforts are used throughout the CD. Creative use of vocal layering and electronic sound manipulation are demonstrations of Julius' creative ability to push the boundries of his many vocal stylings.
From a whisper, to a scream, to distorted twisted screams of agony...Backed by one hell of a powerful and dynamic rhythm section that will pummel your senses... Soundwise, think of this, Ministry and NIN meet in a back alley and have a punch up. Soulfly and Deftones jump in and a more heavier Rob Zombie stares, looking on... An endless supply of monstrous guitar riffs drive this mechanical force but allows the arrangements just enough breathing room for some catchy melodies in the midst of some tremendously furious sounds...
